Substance use Disorder Counseling

Treatment and education options are offered for all treatment levels and address the unique needs of the individual.

Family Support & Education

Staff has specialized training to help those with alcohol and drug problems. Our staff includes licensed clinicians, Master’s level clinicians, and certified alcohol and drug counselors & educators.

Outpatient Treatment

Outpatient care consists of face-to-face individual, group or family counseling sessions. An individualized treatment plan is formulated based on the goals of the client.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Services are offered to youth and adults in need of a highly structured treatment program. Clients attend 3-4 days per week with morning and evening sessions available.

Medication Assisted Therapy

Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) is the use of a medication prescribed by an on-site physician to assist in managing addiction. This is provided at low or no cost. It is most successful when paired with counseling services.

Vivitrol & other MAT

The health department has a physician on staff trained to provide Vivitrol and other MAT. Use of MAT can increase the success rates of substance abuse treatment.

Naloxone (Narcan)

Naloxone is a drug that can reverse overdoses from heroin or prescription opioids such as oxycodone, hydrocodone, methadone, morphine & fentanyl. Naloxone is available at pharmacies without a prescription.

Mental Health Counseling Services

Mental health concerns affect people from all walks of life; young and old, male and female, married and single, employees and employers. Services are available for individuals and families to address a variety of issues including those related to depression, anxiety, suicide, grief, substance abuse and anger management.

Cache Valley Unified Support Program

The Cache Valley Unified Support Program serves community members struggling with mental health and or substance use. This program provides support and acts as a resource to connect people to services in the community that can assist them during their mental health or substance use crisis.
